I agree and consent to the following:

I understand that Reiki healing is a subtle, yet effective hands-on energy technique or modality used for stress reduction, relaxation, pain relief, and overall improvement to one’s physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. I understand the benefits of healings/ readings and realize that while many experience positive benefits, energy work is not guaranteed to be effective for everyone. Reiki healing is not an immediate solution or cure all and is most beneficial to clients gradually over time and through multiple sessions.

I understand the Reiki Practitioner is NOT a licensed physician or therapist and therefore will not be held responsible or liable for any energy work or information given by the healer during the session. Healing/reading sessions should NOT be regarded as medical advice, treatment, diagnosis, or prescriptions. I acknowledge that Reiki healing sessions are in no way a substitution for licensed medical care and I should report any physical or psychological ailments to a health care professional. Energy practitioners are not qualified to diagnose or medically treat any physical or mental illness or condition. Reiki sessions can be a great complimentary service paired with other forms of care I may be receiving. If applicable, it is your responsibility to inform your psychologist or therapist of any healings and inquire if healings will be in your best interest. The Reiki practitioner is not responsible for any negative response that may result after a healing. It is however your responsibility to immediately voice any distress or discomfort to your practitioner during the session or notify your healer of any changes to your medical health history.
